The Story of Monty
Welcome to our little corner of the internet, where every wagging tail and joyful bark brings a smile to our faces. Today, we want to introduce you to one of the dogs who got us here and makes every day a little brighter – Monty!
Monty joined Megan while she was at Bangor university in August 2017 from a rescue centre in North Wales. Since then he has been many things, from companion to therapy dog and now he spends his retired days lounging in the warmest, comfiest spot he can find.
A Day in Monty's Life
Monty’s day starts with a lazy lie in before we go for a trot around the fields. Monty suffers from arthritis so we take is slow and steady and have days off when we need them. Breakfast is of course Carnilove Lamb and Wild Boar along with his meds then if he's staying at home he settles onto the bed/sofa/sun puddle of choice to sleep the day away. If Monty is joining us at the shop then it's into the car with his brothers, greet the girls in the cafe and then settle in the office to sleep the day away up there (can you see a pattern?)
Monty's Favourite Products
Monty has impeccable taste, and he’s our unofficial product tester. Here are a few of his favourites:
Carnilove Jerky: Monty can't resist our fabulous Carnilove Jerky. His favourite flavour is Turkey and Venison!
Ruffwear Flagline Harness: Now that Monty is getting a litle bit older he wears the Basalt Gray Flagline Harness which as a bit of extra support and a handle to help him in and out of the car, over obstacles or just to lend a helping hand when he's getting tired on a longer walk.
